Your ad choices

4. macOS version

The Mac app contains no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDKs. It does not collect any personal or device data. The only network activity is with Apple's App Store when you make or restore an in-app purchase.

5. In-app purchases

Business Mode is a one-time purchase made through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, Apple ID, card or billing details. The App only receives confirmation from Apple that the purchase is valid, so it can unlock Business Mode on your devices.

6. Analytics and crash reports

We don't use any analytics service. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. These do not include your tax information.

7. Children

The App is a tax tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Keeping and deleting your data

Because your information stays on your device, you control it. You can delete saved returns in the App (••• › Saved Returns), start over at any time, or delete the App to remove everything it stored. We hold no copy to delete.

9. Your privacy rights

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. Because we don't collect or store your personal information, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. For data collected by Google to serve ads on iPhone and iPad, you can use the in-app ad choices above or the tools described in Google's Privacy Policy. Residents of California, the EEA, the UK and other regions with privacy laws may contact us with any request or question.

10. Security

Your information is protected by your device's built-in security, including encryption when your device is locked. We don't transmit your tax data, so it can't be exposed in transit or on our servers.

11. Disclosures

On iPhone and iPad, yes: Google AdMob, non-personalized ads only, with no tracking. On Mac, no — the macOS version has no ads.
Will the data be shared with any third parties? If so, for what purposes and where will this information be stored?
